Conditions for Establishing a Sole Proprietorship
Belarusian citizens can register as sole proprietors in Poland after obtaining a residence title that allows them to conduct sole proprietorship in Poland, i.e. permanent residence permit, a valid card of the Pole and a Poland.Business Harbour visa. Once the residence title enabling sole proprietorship in Poland is acquired, a Belarusian citizen can proceed to register as a sole proprietor.
Additionally, a sole proprietor must have a bank account with a Polish bank and register with the Social Insurance Fund (ZUS). A sole proprietor is also required to pay social security contributions and personal income tax.
